Alliant has announced that Geoff Godsey will be joining the company as a vice-president, commercial producer, serving the Southwest region.
Based in Dallas, Godsey will offer a full suite of risk and insurance solutions to Alliant’s growing regional client base.
“Geoff joins us with a strong command of the Dallas market, understanding the unique trends and market dynamics that drive business decisions within the area,” commented Alliant executive vice-president and senior managing director Bob Bennetsen.
Bennetsen noted that Godsey’s broad industry reach and track record of results will serve as a considerable asset to Alliant’s growing team – both in Dallas and throughout the Southwest region.
Before joining Alliant, Godsey served as a commercial producer with a major regional insurance brokerage firm. He is an experienced commercial insurance specialist, having successfully aided clients with their insurance needs across a range of industries and disciplines such as finance, technology, staffing, and franchises.
He is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and exercise science.
Godsey is also an accomplished cyclist, having spent 10 years competing at the highest levels of both the domestic and international circuits. As a professional cyclist, he has earned over 25 career wins and three Texas state championship titles.
