Argo Group US, a member of Argo international Holdings, has announced that Gary Grose (pictured), Argo Group head of marketing and producer management, will serve as the interim head of Colony Specialty in addition to his current responsibilities. Grose will take the reins from former Colony Specialty head Ron Vindivich, who has announced plans to retire.

“Gary is an effective leader with deep industry knowledge,” said Kevin Rehnberg, Argo Group president for the Americas and chief administrative officer. “He’s a valuable member of our executive team, and the perfect choice to assist with the transition and onboarding a new leader.”

Grose joined the company in 2014 as head of producer management, and later assumed responsibility for all aspects of the company’s brand and marketing function. He previously worked at Marsh, where he led all marketing and communications strategies and initiatives across the US. Grose has also held positions at Zurich, Allstate and John Hancock.

Argo is actively recruiting a permanent replacement for Vindivich and plans to have the position filled by spring.
