BancorpSouth announces shifts in the executive team

CEO McKnight said the changes will streamline communications and procedures across the company’s national footprint

BancorpSouth Insurance Services has announced some changes to its executive team. President and CEO Markham McKnight said the changes are designed to unify the company’s regions among other things.
 
  • Beverly Choppin has been named chief financial officer
  • Scott Naugle has been named chief operating officer
  • Chris Boone has been promoted from executive vice president and chief marketing officer to president of property and casualty
  • Kerry Drake has been promoted from executive vice president and president of the Louisiana region to president of employee benefits
  • Julia Kramer has been named chief organization performance officer
  • Mike Halter has been named chief sales officer
 
McKnight said the changes will streamline communications and procedures across the company. “To continue properly serving our clients and future clients, it is important that we have the mechanisms in place to do so,” he said.
 
BancorpSouth Insurance Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of BancorpSouth Bank and has offices in 33 states with 600 employees.
