Boston insurance brokerage hires new loss-control engineer

Amy M. Landry will be responsible for helping clients understand how risk mitigation can control insurance costs and improve terms

Risk Strategies Company has appointed Amy M. Landry as the insurance brokerage’s new property loss-control engineer. She will be based in the company’s headquarters in Boston.

She previously served as a risk engineering consultant for both FM Global Insurance and AXA Matrix Risk Consultants. Landry is also a certified fire protection specialist.

As the new property loss-control engineer of Risk Strategies Company, Landry will help the brokerage’s various clients in controlling insurance costs while finding ways to gain better terms, conditions, and rates when shopping for new coverage. She will also lend her expertise in post-loss cause and origin investigations.

Risk Strategies Company is a privately-held national insurance brokerage and risk management firm that operates in over 20 locations across the country. The brokerage serves commercial companies, non-profits, public entities, and individuals by providing them with advice and insurance placement for property, casualty, healthcare, and employee benefits risks.
