Capital Insurance Group (CIG), a regional P&C insurer serving the Western US, has announced that it has selected, from among its partner agencies, its Agency of the Year for 2019.
CIG has named Willow Glen Insurance Agency as 2019’s top agency, in recognition of the agency’s “overall excellence servicing policyholders, their commitment to the communities they serve, and their outstanding partnership with CIG,” a release said.
“Our success for over 120 years has only been made possible by partnering with outstanding agencies like Willow Glen Insurance Agency who shares in our mission to protect and restore our communities,” said CIG president and CEO Arne Chatterton.
“Without question, naming Willow Glen as our Agency of the Year recognizes the agency’s solid and profitable business results achieved in 2019,” added CIG Northern California regional field executive Scott Cummins.
Willow Glen Insurance Agency has been partners with CIG since 1980. Led by Ross Peterson, the agency primarily serves policyholders in Silicon Valley, particularly rental property owners and small businesses.
“We’re greatly honored and excited to be named CIG’s Agency of the Year. We acknowledge a debt of gratitude to the people in every department at CIG for supporting us this past year so we could experience the kind of success we were all shooting for,” commented Ross Peterson.
Peterson gave special thanks to Willow Glen’s underwriting team and company representatives for their key roles in helping drive the agency’s successes. The agency leader also said that he looks forward to another 40 years of partnership between Willow Glen and CIG.
