Personal lines clients with Chubb Group of Insurance Companies will now have access to a network of more than 3,000 independent companies that can help them protect, maintain or restore their possessions.

The insurer, already known for its wide array of personal lines solutions, announced this week that existing and future clients will be able to search an online database to identify pre-qualified service providers in their area. They will receive discounts, priority scheduling and other benefits from firms servicing their homes, cars, jewelry, fine art and other valuables.

The new Chubb Preferred Service Provider Network offers referrals to service providers such as:
  • Alarm and security companies
  • Sprinkler system installers and fire prevention specialists
  • Art warehousing and transportation providers
  • Art restorers and conservators
  • Appraisers of fine art, jewelry and home contents
  • Architects, builders and interior designers
  • Electricians, plumbers and roofers
  • Auto repair shops
Chubb selected the providers based on professional credentials, references, Better Business Bureau reports, criminal databases and other information on the businesses and their owners.

According to Maria Cordeiro, client services manager for Chubb Personal Insurance, the new service stemmed from client requests.

“We created the Chubb Preferred Service Provider Network in response to clients who asked us to refer them to businesses that can help them prevent as well as recover from property losses,” Cordeiro said. “Because of our long history of appraising and handling claims for high-value homes, we have been able to build and now share an extensive list of professional providers that are dedicated to delivering the high level of service demanded by our customers.”
