CRC Group division Coastal Insurance Underwriters, a program administrator that designs, creates and manages insurance products for businesses including condo associations, homeowners associations, and golf and country clubs, has announced the appointment of two new presidents.

Chief underwriting officer Sim Bridges (pictured above left) will retain his CUO role in addition to his new role as president. Bridges joined CUI in 2009.

Appointed president and chief operating officer is Kim Bushong Petrillo (pictured above right), who has been with CUI since 2019. In her career at the company, Bushong has focused on business development, marketing, carrier and retail relationships, program implementation and business system enhancement.

The appointments became effective on Nov. 1, coinciding with the retirement of CUI founder and longtime president Chuck Bushong.

“I am honored to continue my journey with Coastal as president,” Bridges said. “Chuck Bushong was a wonderful leader, and I look forward to honoring his hard work by continuing to build the Coastal brand and team as we provide best-in-class service to our retail and carrier partners.”

“I am excited to continue investing in the future of Coastal as president and chief operating officer,” Petrillo said. “I look forward to growing our strong reputation with carriers, agents and partners.”

CUI parent company CRC Group recently announced the appointment of Angela Alaniz as chief digital officer for its commercial solutions division. The group also recently announced the appointment of three executives to its leadership team.
