Combined Insurance, a Chubb company, has been named the nation’s top military-friendly spouse employer in the over $1 billion category by VIQTORY Media. This is the company’s third straight year in the top five.

VIQTORY Media’s annual list recognizes companies that hire the spouses of active-duty service members and promote policies that acknowledge the challenges of military life.

“It is truly an honor to be recognized for our military spouse hiring efforts again this year by VIQTORY,” said Bob Wiedower, vice president of sales development and military programs for Combined Insurance.”

The company was also recently recognized by VIQTORY as the country’s number-one military-friendly employer in the over $1 billion revenue category – Combined Insurance’s eighth consecutive year in the top 10 and its fifth consecutive year in the top five.

“We are proud to support our military once they leave the service by providing meaningful employment, but we also want to support our military while they are still serving,” Wiedower said. “One of the best ways to do that is to provide employment for military spouses, offering flexibility and portability that military spouses need in their career.”

Since launching its veteran recruiting program in 2010, Combined has partnered with the Department of Defense’s military spouse employment initiative, guaranteeing any veteran or military spouse an interview with the company.
