Confie announced Wednesday that it has acquired ExpressLink, Inc., a provider of auto dealer point of sale insurance and related products and services.

“ExpressLink has the expertise and infrastructure that will help us expand sales of new products and services across the nation and we look forward to working with Brian Murphy and his team to continue one of our growth strategies,” said Confie CEO Valeria Rico.

“The combination of Confie and ExpressLink increases the product and territory offerings for both companies,” remarked ExpressLink president Brian Murphy. “There will be no employee reductions or location changes associated with this merger, only improved access to markets and marketing that will help the merged entity provide the best auto dealer insurance products and services anywhere.”

Following the acquisition, Murphy will continue to serve as president of ExpressLink.

ExpressLink provides auto dealers based in the southwest with insurance solutions that help increase their profitability. Founded in 1984, the company is one of the most successful providers of auto dealer point of sale insurance programs in the country. The company also offers other finance and insurance products, such as comprehensive auto warranty re-insurance program.
