PartnerOne Environmental and
Berkley Specialty Underwriting Managers have teamed up to offer a combined pollution and professional liability policy for contractors.
PartnerOne Contractors Pollution & Professional is custom-tailored to address the risk exposures encountered by non-environmental contractors, including daily jobsite exposures and any project contract requirements – an increasingly frequent condition.
Target risks for the new product include general contractors, HVAC contractors, plumbers, electricians, street and road contractors, painting contractors, roofers and a variety of others. Premiums start at $5,000.
Chris DeLauder, senior vice president of Berkley Specialty Underwriting Managers’ Environmental Division, explained the demand for the product as well as the partnership with PartnerOne.
“We are pleased to expand our long-term relationship with PartnerOne Environmental through this new product,” DeLauder said in a statement. “Contractors Pollution and Professional liability has grown out of the well-established pollution liability market and helps protect against environmental liabilities associated with contracting operations, or the liability from a negligent act, error or omission in the performance of professional services.

PartnerOne Contractors Pollution & Professional will be added to the company’s suite of envionmental products, which includes PartnerOne Package, PartnerOne Contractors Pollution, PartnerOne Premises Pollution, PartnerOne Self Storage Plus, PartnerOne Facilities Casualty & Pollution, and PartnerOne Energy Select.
