Erie Insurance names company veteran to leadership role

Erie Insurance has appointed Ann Carline (pictured) as vice president for first notice of loss, customer service operations and strategy, the company has announced. Carlin steps into a role which she has served on an interim basis since March.

Carlin has nearly 25 years of industry experience. She began her career at Erie Insurance as a part-time policy processor and first notice of loss representative. In 2000, she became a full-time inside claims representative. She was later promoted to supervisor.

In 2011, Carlin moved to customer care operations, where she held several leadership roles. Most recently, she served as director of contact center operations.

Carlin holds several insurance designations, including CPCU, AIC, AIS and AAM. She holds an associate’s degree in business administration from Gannon University and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in risk management.
