Everest Insurance recently announced the availability of its expanded environmental offering, in response to what it described as the industry’s evolving needs.

The expanded product, ESP, was developed with contributions from the company’s clientele, to be more responsive to their exposure needs.

“We are pleased to add a mono-line site pollution offering to our growing product set at Everest. Our new ESP policy form was developed with the input of our valued trading partners and insureds, and we are very appreciative of their input and assistance in this process,” Tom Barrett, head of environmental at Everest, said in the statement.

ESP provides mono-line site pollution coverage that protects both new and pre-existing conditions for bodily injury, property damage, and cleanup costs. Enhancements are also available for non-owned location pollution liability, transportation pollution liability and business interruption expenses.

The ESP offering also includes loss control services and customizable endorsements and enhancements on A+ XV paper to address the needs of manufacturing facilities, strip malls, office buildings, public entities, schools and universities.

Connie Germano, head of specialty casualty at Everest, added: “At Everest, we focus on the thoughtful assumption of risk while seeking mutual success with our trading partners. We are always looking to innovate and evolve, and are pleased to provide this new mono-line site pollution policy to meet the needs of our insureds.”
