Everest Insurance has announced a rebrand of its sports, leisure and entertainment division.

Previously known as Specialty Insurance Group (SIG), the division has been rebranded as EverSports & Entertainment Insurance. The rebranded operation will continue to offer primary and excess liability, commercial auto, workers’ compensation, property, contingency and participant accident coverage to clients in the sports, leisure and entertainment space.

The rebrand aligns EverSports & Entertainment Insurance’s corporate identity with its insurance appetite and market position, said parent company Everest Re Group.

“This refreshed brand is a major milestone for our group and an opportunity to reaffirm our role in the industry,” said David Nikolai, head of EverSports & Entertainment Insurance.

“We remain focused on continuing to provide our robust suite of sports, leisure and entertainment insurance offerings, best-in-class services, and world-class underwriting talent to our valued clients and brokers. Considering the volatility we’ve seen this past year, we want to remind our clients and brokers that we are here for the long haul. This new brand perfectly encapsulates our commitment to long-term relationships with our clients in this industry segment, our ambition to expand our footprint in the marketplace, and our role as a member company of Everest.”
