Great American Insurance Group has announced the appointment of Jennifer C. Guidry as vice president of business development for its Alternative Markets division. Guidry (pictured above) will lead strategy and execution for the sourcing, due diligence, and onboarding of new program business for the division.
Guidry has held numerous underwriting, sales and management positions over the past 20 years. In addition to programs and captives, her underwriting experience includes small commercial, book consolidation and construction.
Guidry was named one of Insurance Business America’s Elite Women in 2021. Her professional designations include Certified Insurance Counselor and Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist.
Great American’s Alternative Markets division specializes in niche program business and offers a variety of traditional and risk-sharing program options on an admitted basis. Offerings include nationwide workers’ compensation, general liability, property, inland marine, auto and umbrella, along with a business owners policy and package. Programs include monoline and multiline, with bundled or unbundled services.
