Hub International headed 2016 with yet another acquisition as it announced that it had acquired the assets of California-based Tevis Insurance Solutions. Terms of the acquisition weren’t disclosed.

Headquartered in Sacramento, Tevis specializes in providing employee benefits. The acquisition will further expand Hub’s footprint in the state. The Tevis team will become part of Hub California and report to Shannon Taylor, Hub’s president of West Region Employee Benefits.

The acquisition rounds out a year in which Hub made several similar acquisitions as it expanded its geographical footprint.

Earlier in December, Hub purchased the assets of MDW Insurance Group, as well as its affiliates Agents Insurance Resurces and AIR Insurance Marketing. In November, the insurance giant announced the acquisition of California-based brokerage Riviera Insurance Services.

Hub made several other acquisitions throughout 2016, including New England-based Norton Insurance Agency and Norton Financial Services and California-based Parq Advisors and Equity Risk Partners.
