Hub International Limited has acquired the assets of Cosaint Insurance Partners in Conshohocken, PA.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

According to a release, the principal owners of Cosaint were previously part of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company’s exclusive distribution model. The acquisition of Cosaint coincides with the agency’s shift to being an independent broker.

Cosaint Insurance Partners is an independent insurance agency whose partners boast a combined experience of over 100 years. The agency offers both personal and commercial insurance in Pennsylvania and the surrounding states.

Following the acquisition, Cosaint Insurance Partners president and COO Robert Bush, as well as chairman and CEO Dennis O’Neill will join Hub. Both of them will report to Hub International US Central Region president Neil Hughes.

“Cosaint Insurance Partners is a well-respected insurance agency, formed to capitalize on Nationwide’s exclusive distribution model transition,” commented Hughes. “Together, we will continue to offer an independent platform for them and other agents who join Hub to grow and deliver insurance solutions tailored to the evolving needs of their clients.”

Both Bush and O’Neill have said in a statement that they are thrilled to become part of the Hub team, adding that they can now offer new carrier and coverage options for their clients while helping other Nationwide agents transition into independent brokers.
