HUB International swoops for Oregon-based multi-line provider

Hub International has announced that it has finalized the acquisition of Great Basin Insurance, Eugene, a subsidiary of Great Basin Insurance, Inc. situated in Klamath Falls, Ore. Specific terms and conditions of the deal were not disclosed.

Based in Eugene, Ore., Great Basin Insurance Eugene specializes in multi-line insurance, encompassing commercial, personal lines, and employee benefits for clients across the Northwest.

Following this acquisition, Michael May, partner, and the entire Great Basin Insurance Eugene team will integrate with the Hub Northwest team in Eugene, under the leadership of Erik Finrow, executive vice president of Hub Northwest.

As part of the transaction, Great Basin Insurance Eugene will also move forward as GBI Eugene, a Hub International company.

Elsewhere for the global brokerage, HUB International also recently introduced Eric Showalter as its new senior vice president and head of service and client experience for HUB Private Client.
