Global brokerage Hub International Limited has announced that it has acquired the assets of Horizon Insurance, a personal insurance provider based in Worcester, Mass. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Horizon Insurance specializes in providing clients in the region with a range of personal insurance offerings, including auto, home, life, and commercial insurance. Following the acquisition, Orieta Kristo, principal and founder of Horizon, along with the Horizon Insurance team, will join Hub International New England.

Last month, Hub announced its acquisition of the assets of Edbrooke/Stelcner and Associates, a Florida-based employee benefits brokerage and consulting firm. Hub also acquired South Carolina-based Golden Corner Wealth Advisors.
