Hub snaps up two former Nationwide agencies

Hub International Limited has announced that it has acquired the insurance brokerage assets of The Olson Insurance Agency and Insure All. Both agencies are based in Virginia. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

Max Olson, owner of The Olson Agency, and Michael Forney, owner of Insure All, were each previously part of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company’s exclusive distribution model and recently became independent brokers.

Both agencies provide personal and commercial insurance services, including auto, home, life, and business. The Olson Agency has locations in Springfield, Arlington and Woodbridge, Va. Insure All is headquartered in Stanley, Va.

The additions complement and strengthen Hub’s personal insurance business, the company said. Since 2019, Hub has acquired 21 agencies that were previously exclusive to Nationwide and subsequently became independent.

Olson and the employees of The Olson Agency and Insure All will join Hub Mid-Atlantic and will report to Norman Breitenbach, president of the region, Hub said.
