The Smart Choice agency network, a program owned by Worldwide Insurance Network Inc. that operates in 41 states, announced that for the first half of 2016, it had added 603 new agency partners. The network’s total number of agency partners is now just over 5,130.

The Smart Choice program provides its partner agencies with a suite of products and services, including access to personal, commercial, and life markets. Members also gain access to Smart Choice’s business builder and business saver products. The network has partnered with more than 85 nationwide and local carriers.

In total, the company has experienced 18% in total premium growth so far for the year. In comparison, the company added 438 new agency locations during the same period last year.

Last year, Smart Choice enjoyed nearly 15% growth in gross revenues and added more than 800 agency partners. In 2014, the company added 630 agencies for the entire year—a record that the company currently intends to break.

“We are growing exponentially,” remarked Smart Choice president Andrew Caldwell. “In 2016 we committed to adding 1,000 additional agency partner locations and at this point we expect to not only meet that goal, but surpass it. We are breaking business records year after year. And our growth is a direct result of the need that exists in the independent insurance marketplace.”
