Insurance broker appoints new COO for Midwest P/C division

A leading global broker has a new head of its Midwest property/casualty division based in Chicago

NFP has named Patrick Savage its Chief Operating Officer for Property & Casualty, Midwest.

Savage will primarily head the operations and handle the finances of the business unit. He will be based in Chicago, and will report to NFP Property & Casualty CEO Terrence Scall.

“NFP is committed to expanding its P&C operation, and Patrick’s expertise and track record for executing growth strategies will be a significant driver toward meeting our business goals. We are pleased to welcome Patrick to the NFP family,” Scall said of Savage.

Previously, Savage was COO and Senior Vice President of Talent Management for regional insurance broker Hylant. He has about two decades’ experience working in the insurance industry.

The new COO was more than enthusiastic to join NFP. "With my background in both small and regional brokerage environments, I'm excited to join the leadership team at NFP to help with business direction, to platform the Midwest P&C operation for sustained profitability and to support NFP's fundamental values of people first, trust and authenticity," remarked Savage.
