ACE Group’s sister company, Combined Insurance, has handed a $30,000 donation to Luke’s Wings, a national organization that helps soldiers wounded in action.

Combine Insurance managed to source the donation money from its recent sales incentive competition between the company’s four sales zones. The winning sales zone, Combine Insurance’s Northeast zone, gave $30,000 and an additional $20,000 was from the second place zone.

“Our sales agents are no strangers to helping others,” said Greg Thompson, senior vice president and Northeast zone manager for Combined Insurance in a release.

“Not only do our agents help our customers choose the right coverage for their needs, but they also do so much to support their communities and our nation’s military servicemen and women. More than 700 Northeast zone agents and managers participated in this sales competition and I am so proud that my team put so much effort into winning in order to support such an important and worthy cause as Luke’s Wings.”

Luke’s Wings provides families of wounded or injured soldiers the means to visit during the service member’s hospitalization and rehabilitation.

“By purchasing travel agency services, plane tickets and other travel tickets for loved ones, Luke’s Wings provides an immediate and invaluable service to the families of men and women at arms while also helping to encourage and motivate the service member’s recovery,” the official release stated.
