Safebuilt Insurance Services, Inc., doing business as SIS Wholesale Insurance Services (SIS), announced Monday a new online rating and policy management platform.

Dubbed SIS Online 2.0, it incorporates an advanced comparative rating engine that allows SIS’ appointed brokers access to quote, bind, and issue policies in minutes from seven exclusive programs. It also enables brokers to manage all endorsements, in-force business, and renewals.

"We are very pleased to have rebuilt our current online rating and policy management system with a significantly enhanced overall user interface and experience,” said SIS chief executive officer Dave Pike. “This is the first step of many innovations that we have outlined for the expansion of our platform over the upcoming years.  Our goal is to continuously improve our technologies and products to assist brokers with enhancing their overall operational efficiencies and capabilities of better serving their insureds."

Matthew Roselle, Corporate Program Development head for SIS, remarked that the company currently issues over 300 policies per day in the system. He also noted that SIS Online 2.0 will handle hundreds of thousands of transactions per year.
