A national property/casualty insurer has announced the availability of a new cloud-based service that aids customers in building risk management plans for their businesses.

Customizable for non- and for-profit policyholders with Philadelphia Insurance Companies, the PHLY Risk Management Portal is powered by the Nonprofit Risk Management Center and provides access to three applications:
  • My Risk Assessment evaluates customer risk through a self-evaluation including variables like employment practices, contracts, special events and harm to clients, among other issues
  • My Risk Management Plan creates a customizable plan for businesses, considering financial management client safety and governance
  • My Risk Management Policies helps users create custom policies using a step-by-step process that features more than 150 templates
Customers using the PHLY Risk Management Portal can upload their current risk management plan, select from samples, or draft their own with help from the service.

Mark Konchan, vice president of risk management services at Philadelphia Insurance Companies, is especially optimistic about the program’s uses for clients in the non-profit sector.

“Non-profit organizations have unique risks and the new Risk Management Portal is specifically designed to help identify and create risk management practices around those exposures,” Konchan said. “This is a tremendous tool for organizations, allowing them to focus their resources on the programs and people they serve.”

The complimentary service is valued at $320, and is accessible to customers after logging into MyPHLY.
