Property/casualty insurance company Ironshore Inc. has announced the opening of a branch office in Seattle, to be led by Daniel Sonon as Branch Executive. Sonon will be responsible for marketing across all Ironshore business lines, reporting to Jeremy Frumkin, Branch Executive based in San Francisco.
“Ironshore’s presence in the Seattle market is the first step in allowing us to better serve the coverage needs of the broker community and our insureds within this growing geographic area, including Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska,” stated Joseph L. Boren, President of Ironshore U.S. Field Operations.
Sonon joined Ironshore in 2012, serving as Vice President of Large Account Architects and Engineers Risk sector. Previously, he was Regional Production Specialist with Lexington Insurance Company for six years. As a seasoned specialty underwriter, Mr. Sonon also has held various positions with XL, Royal Sun and Alliance for Architects and Engineers’ business lines.
