Kansan Bob Fee named to Big “I” executive committee

National agents’ group names a slate of new officers to serve over the coming year

Bob Fee, president and COO of Fee Insurance Group of Hutchinson KS, has been named to the executive committee of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA, also known as Big “I”).
Fee is a graduate of the University of Kansas and the U.S. Fire and Guaranty School of Insurance, he also serves on the board of directors for the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents.

Randy Lanoix, president of Lanoix Insurance Agency in Lutcher and Brusly, LA, is the new chairman.

“Randy is a dedicated professional who tirelessly devotes himself to countless Louisiana families and businesses. He has been there for them when hurricanes and other disasters have devastated the region and is the ultimate advocate for his clients, neighbors and community. We look forward to a wonderful year under his leadership,” said Robert Rusbuldt, Big “I” president & CEO.

On the national level, Lanoix has served on the Professional Liability Committee, the Trusted Choice® board of directors, numerous task forces and two terms on the Government Affairs Committee, where he was chairman of state government affairs.

Lanoix and Fee are joined by other officers named by the organization to serve as the group’s new administrators. Spencer Houldin of Connecticut was installed as chairman-elect, and Vaughn Graham of Tulsa as vice-chair.
The official announcement of these new officers was made over the weekend, and they begin their terms this week.
Lanoix previously served as president of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Louisiana in 2001 and as Louisiana’s representative on the national board of directors from January 2005 to September 2010.

Founded in 1896, the Big “I” is the nation’s oldest and largest national association of independent insurance agents and brokers, representing a network of more than a quarter of a million agents, brokers and their employees.
