Lockton Caribbean & Central America (CCA) has introduced CCA FAB, the region’s first specialized food, agriculture, and beverage insurance practice.

Operating out of Miami, Lockton CCA functions as a wholesale insurance and reinsurance provider within Lockton’s Latin America and Caribbean Insurance Services Series (LACIS). The CCA FAB practice will offer customized insurance solutions for companies involved in the food, agriculture, and beverage sectors, including specialized liability insurance, contract review, crop insurance, stock throughput solutions, product liability and recall insurance, reputational damage insurance, and financial and professional coverages.

The company claimed that Lockton CCA has a strong track record of supporting prominent local and global companies in the food, agriculture, and beverage industries, such as food distributors, distilleries, breweries, and soft drink manufacturers. Now, the new practice aims to enhance the offerings available to local independent brokers and insurers.

Simon Arden and Mario Martinez have been appointed as co-leaders of CCA FAB, reporting to Lockton CCA CEO Julian Pratt CCA president Tony Matta. Both Arden and Martinez have extensive experience in the insurance industry in the Caribbean and Central America. They will work closely with Lockton’s global food, agriculture, and beverage practices in London and the United States to help companies manage their risks effectively.

“As the food, agriculture, and beverage sector in the Caribbean and Central America continues to develop, businesses need specialized guidance from brokers who understand both the industry and the region,” Arden said.

“Lockton CCA is eager to provide innovative solutions to help these businesses manage their key operational, financial, and reputational risks, and to create competitive and responsive insurance programs.”
