There is a new US casualty leader at brokerage giant Lockton.

The firm has appointed Debbie Goldstine into a dual role, which will also see her become executive vice president. As part of her responsibilities she will take on the firm’s strategic casualty solutions while also advising clients and associates on emerging risk trends.

“Debbie has built a reputation with clients and colleagues as an expert in complex risk management issues,” said Peter Clune, Lockton’s president and COO of US operations. “Our clients, associates and markets will all be energized as they learn about Debbie’s new role.”

Goldstine boasts 20 years in the industry and has been with the brokerage for 12 years. Most recently she was senior vice president and US excess casualty practice leader. She was also previously named among Insurance Business America’s Elite Women of Insurance.
