Markel Corporation has announced a change in location for its 2020 annual shareholder meeting. The meeting will be held May 11 at 4:30 p.m. EST at Markel’s Virginia headquarters. Due to the health risks associated with the COVID-19 outbreak, in-person attendance will be limited to company officers and other personnel required to conduct the meeting.
Shareholders and other interested parties will be able to listen to the meeting over the internet, Markel said. Details on how to do so will be provided at a later date.
The process for voting shares at the annual meeting will remain the same, Markel said.
