Highsmith, founded in 1974, offers insurance and bond products to midsized employers and individuals in the Mid-Atlantic region. It boasts offices in Raleigh, N.C., Charleston, S.C., and Nashville, Tenn. All of the company’s employees will join MMA in the acquisition.
