Managing general agent and program administrator
NIF Group has hired an insurance industry veteran to lead its national nonprofit and social services program.
Vince Terlaje will fill the role of National Director, Nonprofit Social Service Program for the MGA while maintaining his current position of President of NIF Pacific.
Terlaje, who joined NIF in 2009, brings several years of experience to the role – particularly in the nonprofit and social services sector. Terlaje managed underwriting for the nonprofit/social services division of Safeco Insurance Company (now
Liberty Mutual). He also served as Assistant Director of Product Development and Territory Underwriting Director for the Northwest Region of Safeco Business Insurance.
Terlaje holds the designations of CPCU, RPLU, AU and ARe.
Mike Maher, President of NIF Group, celebrated the appointment and expressed his confidence in Terlaje’s background and ability to lead the program forward.
“With Vince’s extensive experience on the insurance carrier and the program management side, we feel he is the person to take the program to the next level,” Maher said in a statement.
