Michigan insurance executive named to local business hall of fame

Karl Ieuter, of Ieuter Insurance Group, named a rising star by Central Michigan Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame

Karl Ieuter, vice president and owner of Ieuter Insurance Group, will be inducted into the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame of Central Michigan as a rising star on Oct. 8.
 
He was nominated by members of the community and selected for induction by a consensus of past rising stars respectively.
 
“The 2015 laureates represent the core of what JA is all about, entrepreneurship and business leadership. They each bring their own unique flair to the business world and readily share their success with the community,” said Mike Rush, president of Junior Achievement of Central Michigan.
 
Ieuter earned a degree in finance from Miami University in 1995 and later received a master's of business administration from Georgia State University, majoring in risk management and insurance in 1997.
 
He is vice-president and owner of Ieuter Insurance Group, specializing in commercial and non-profit insurance.
 
He has served on the Young Insurance Agents Council. Ieuter has been a two-term President of local NE Michigan CPCU chapter and active in the Professional Insurance Agents of Michigan.
 
Ieuter is an alumnus of Leadership Midland and past president of the Leadership Midland Alumni Association. He is a graduate of the 1000 Leader Program. He was appointed by the governor to the Children’s Trust Fund board, as well as serving as a committee member on five other non-profit boards.
