Leading insurance company
Nationwide is hoping to better serve its agents and their small business clients with a new commercial quoting system.
Called
FastPath, the tool boasts streamlined technology that results in faster quoting and an average of 80% fewer screens. The system also automatically accepts 60% of simpler, smaller risks that don’t require underwriter review and go straight into issuance.
In addition to
FastPath, Nationwide is releasing a social media tool and web-based mapping application to allow agents to view and search for more commercial prospects.
Jeff Rommel, president of Nationwide’s Property & Casualty Independent Distrution Channel, said the new tools reflect Nationwide’s commitment to its agents and the unique needs of small business clients – many of whom are often pressed for time.
“We’re making it easier for agents to do business with us so they can focus on the needs of clinets,” Rommel said in a statement. “This tool is just one of many ways Nationwide is working to help agents better serve clients.
“Programs like
FastPath and other technological support highlight Nationwide’s commitment to agency partnerships and exceptions, personalized service.”
Nationwide provides a large range of insurance and financial services for commercial business, and claims the largest market share for the small business sector, according to a 2014 Conning Strategic Study.
