Nationwide has announced the appointment of Laura Titas as senior vice president and chief data officer. In this role, Titas will lead Nationwide’s enterprise data office and will report to Jim Fowler, the company’s executive vice president and chief technology officer.

“We are so pleased to welcome Laura to Nationwide,” Fowler said. “She comes to us with a wealth of experience as a global digital strategist, marketing, and technology leader with a proven track record of delivering transformational business outcomes. I know that she will be an outstanding addition to our team as we continue to evolve our technology offerings to provide customers with extraordinary protection and care.”

Prior to joining Nationwide, Titas served as chief digital experience and technology officer for the Wendy’s restaurant chain. She also served as a board member for the Dave Thomas Foundation for adoption. Titas has also served as a managing director at Accenture Digital, and was a partner in Rosetta’s financial service industry business and customer insights and analytics practice.
