Dallas-based insurance brokerage Artemis Risk Solutions, LLC, has formally entered the market by launching on Wednesday.
Specializing in employee benefits, property & casualty, and personal lines, Artemis was co-founded by chief revenue officer Clint Anderson and P&C president David Lamb. The new business has representatives across the US and offers direct access to risk management consulting and insurance brokerage services in 90 countries.
The company’s leadership includes Chris Burns as chief executive, bringing over four decades of industry experience. Previously, Burns led the employee benefits practice at Willis Group in New York City and London. Chris Cordes, Artemis president, adds 35 years of expertise in sales leadership, organizational development, and growth strategies.
Lifting the lid on the firm’s founding, Lamb stated: “Our industry has experienced significant consolidation, and that has been to the detriment of the clients. We are here to provide insurance solutions tailored to unique needs, avoiding the one-size-fits-many mindset that has become pervasive.
“Geographically, we can assist our clients in all 50 states and globally, and we are actively onboarding clients and creating customized solutions that emphasize employee wellbeing.”
Anderson, meanwhile, highlighted their forward-thinking approach, saying: “Artemis Risk Solutions understands that traditional risk management approaches are no longer sufficient in an era defined by digital disruption and interconnectedness. At Artemis, we are staying ahead of industry trends and anticipating regulations to ensure our clients gain a competitive advantage.”
Artemis has also appointed healthcare sector veteran Dr Charles Van Duyne as chief medical advisor.
