Newfront taps market leader for Ohio, Kentucky

Tech-driven insurance brokerage Newfront has announced the appointment of David Schawe (pictured above) as market leader for Ohio and Kentucky.

Schawe has two decades of experience in risk management. Prior to joining Newfront, Schawe held the position of managing director & head of office at Marsh for four years. Before that, he served as the executive vice president at Gallagher.

“David is an accomplished leader with proven results in partnering with clients for success,” said Newfront co-founder and CEO Spike Lipkin. “David’s leadership in the Ohio and Kentucky markets will enable us to deliver risk-management innovation in even more locations.”

Schawe has been recognized as a Top Producer by Insurance Business America.

“I’m thrilled to plant the Newfront flag in Ohio and Kentucky and bring our differentiator of technology-empowered expertise to more clients,” Schawe said.

Newfront has been experiencing significant growth over the past year, expanding its reach nationally by opening offices in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Texas. Earlier this month, the brokerage appointed Jessica Graves as maritime leader for the Pacific Northwest.
