Ohio Gov. John Kasich has appointed Sarah Morrison as administrator and CEO of the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.
Morrison, who has previously served as the bureau’s chief legal officer since 2012, replaces Steve Buehrer. Buehrer had left the post April 15 after five years of service, leaving Morrison to serve as interim head of the agency.

"Sarah has been an important part of the BWC leadership team that helped drive our state's workplace injury rate below the national average and provide Ohio businesses with $4.3 billion in rate cuts, cuts, rebates and credits. I am confident she will build on that record of achievement and continue BWC's work to strengthen Ohio's business environment," Kasich said in a statement.
