Pacific Interstate Insurance Brokers (PIIB) has announced that Tiffany Bertolini (pictured) has been selected to serve as the cluster group’s president and CEO.

The announcement comes after current president and CEO Larry Manning revealed that he would be retiring on December 31, 2020. Manning will continue to serve as a consultant for PIIB for a minimum of two years after retirement, a release said.

Bertolini, currently serving as vice-president of PIIB, will replace Manning upon his retirement. PIIB chairman Kirby Wells said that it was the board of directors that elected Bertolini as a replacement; her appointment was revealed during PIIB’s 25th anniversary luncheon.

She first joined PIIB in 2004 as an administrative assistant and her duties and responsibilities increased over the years, including management and oversight of the profit-sharing calculation process. She was later promoted in 2011 to the position of sales and operations manager, where she helped the company’s 100 affiliates grow to 240. In 2018, she was elected by the board of directors to serve as vice-president.

“I am humbled and honored to have the opportunity to lead this company. We have seen great success for the last 25 years, and we are hungry for more,” she said during the anniversary event.

“I am confident in our affiliates, our carrier partners, our board of directors, and most importantly, our team. We are positioned for great things to come.”
