Texas-side authorities are searching for a man suspected of breaking into an insurance agency Monday night on Texas Boulevard.

The suspect—who can be seen in photograph stills taken from the Texas-side company's video surveillance system— resembles the suspect sought by Arkansas-side police in another recent burglary that happened about three miles away, said Shawn Vaughn, Texarkana, Texas, police spokesman.

"Upon arrival, the officers discovered a broken window on the back, south side of the building," Vaughn said. "A landscaping brick was detected on the ground inside the building."

A review of video surveillance showed a black male entered the business by climbing through the window that was broken before taking an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and walking through the company. Vaughn said he left through the back door of the business and ran north, from the building.

Surveillance stills chosen from the two crimes seem to depict the same suspect.

Vaughn requested that anyone with information on the Texas Boulevard burglary call TTPD at 903 798 3116 or Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP. CCTV shots from the Jefferson Avenue burglary can be seen on the Texarkana, Ark., Police Department's Facebook page at Facebook.com/TexarkanaARKPD.
