QBE North America announced the launch of a new Commercial Property product, offering coverage solutions for large companies across the United States.
The product provides all-risks coverage on a shared and layered basis, including primary, quota-share, buffer, and excess positions. QBE stated the offering combines underwriting expertise with service capabilities to meet the insurance needs of large organizations.
"QBE recognizes the complex risk landscape facing large corporations today," said Ashley Irwin, head of Commercial Property at QBE North America. "That is why we are focused on offering insurance solutions tailored to their specific needs while building lasting relationships that support mutual, long-term growth and stability."
The Commercial Property product is available to a range of industries, including education, financial institutions, healthcare, hospitality, gaming, industrial, light manufacturing, mixed real estate, municipalities, offices, retail, technology, and wholesale and industrial operations.
In March, QBE North America introduced a media liability endorsement designed to provide coverage for media organizations facing legal action under consumer protection laws.
The endorsement offers affirmative coverage when consumer protection statutes are used to challenge First Amendment protections. It is available to media companies seeking additional coverage against claims tied to alleged false, deceptive, or unfair business practices.
QBE North America, in collaboration with Stateside Underwriting Agency, had also introduced a new Errors and Omissions (E&O) program targeting property managers, including those involved in construction and property development.
The program, offered on an admitted basis, provides primary policy limits of $5 million per claim and $5 million in aggregate. It is intended for property management professionals and related service providers, including residential real estate agents or brokers, property development managers, construction managers, and leasing service providers.
