RT Specialty has revealed several promotions within its personal lines practice, appointing Claudia May and Dave Adcock as presidents of the national personal lines practice and Jason Lentz as national practice leader of the private client group.

May has more than 25 years of industry experience. She joined RT Specialty when the company acquired her previous employer, Myron Steves, in 2019. May was serving as Myron Steves’ executive director of its personal lines business. In her new role, May will be based in Houston, TX.

Adcock first began his insurance career as a personal lines underwriter in 2000. He joined RT Specialty through the acquisition of Atlantic Specialty Lines in 2019. In addition to his new role as co-president of the national personal lines practice, he maintains his current role as co-president of RT Specialty’s Richmond, VA office.

Lentz has been a part of the RT Specialty team for three years, with expertise in high net worth insurance. Before entering the insurance industry, he was serving as a US Marine for more than six years. He will be based in Las Vegas, NV.

“Each of these high performing individuals bring great depth to our personal lines expertise,” commented RT Specialty chairman and CEO Tim Turner, who added that the three have assembled strong teams that focus on clients’ needs by offering the best solutions and services.
