Celebrating 25 years of business, Smart Choice – an independent insurance agency network – is marking the occasion by also celebrating its recent milestones.
The agency network said in a release that it closed 2019 with the addition of over 1,400 agency partners – the most in the company’s history within the span of a year. Smart Choice also reported that it has doubled its number of agency partnerships in the last five years, serving nearly 20% of the independent agency base in the US.
In addition, the company announced that it saw a more than 28% increase in gross revenue growth for 2019, which marks five consecutive years of double-digit increases.
“Agencies are choosing Smart Choice because we stay true to the core values that we started with 25 years ago – helping our agency and carrier partners achieve their goals,” commented Smart Choice president Andrew Caldwell.
Smart Choice offers its agency members several programs that they can access to suit their needs. Two of these programs – Smart Start and Express Market – posted considerable growth last year, up 38% and 48%, respectively.
“We continually evaluate our programs and talk with our partners to develop solutions designed for their unique situations,” explained Caldwell. “Whether it’s carrier incentives, additional training for agents, or technology investments at the home office, Smart Choice is always working to add value to those we serve.”
Smart Choice currently serves 7,900 agents in 45 states, and the company is partnered with over 100 national and local carriers.
