An veritable institution in South Dakota’s P&C space is taking its business into new – and, dare we say, refined – territory.

An independent regional property and casualty broker, running for over 60 decades, has opened a new office in Tea, South Dakota, at 910 N. Main Avenue.

Koch Insurance, based in Tyndall, was founded by Royal Koch in 1953 and later expanded with offices in Tabor, Springfield and Yankton.

As an independent insurance agency, Koch represents regional and national property-casualty carriers. The agency offers a variety of insurance coverage for cars, home, crops, farms and businesses, as well as health and life insurance.  Koch Insurance partners with Safeco Insurance, Allied Insurance, State Auto Insurance, Grinnell Mutual, Buckeye Insurance Group, Continental Western Group, EMC Insurance, Avera Health Plans, Sanford Health Plan, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Medica, among others.
