Tangram appoints new regional VP of business development

Tangram Insurance Services has hired Wes Osswald to serve as its newest regional vice-president of business development.

In his new role, Osswald will oversee Tangram’s portfolio of specialty insurance programs in the New England, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, a release said.

Osswald has about 13 years of insurance experience, most recently serving as the regional vice-president of the Northeast region for CRIS – a role he served for more than seven years. Prior to that, he was an account executive and producer at Willis of New Hampshire. It was with Willis that Osswald first began his insurance career, joining the company as a client manager in 2005.

He is an advocate for the Wounded Warriors Project – himself a former veteran who served in Korea. Osswald is also a local volunteer firefighter.

The Petaluma, CA-based Tangram has been in business since 1999, holding more than $100 million in premium and boasting 90% client retention, information on the company’s website said.
