Vision Risk Services has gone on board the software as a service (SaaS) platform with the adoption of P&C Insurance Systems’ (PCIS) ClaimsVISION applications, the latter said in a recent statement.

The third party administrator will use the technology model to deliver its workers’ compensation, general liability, and auto lines of business.

Vision Risk anticipates scalability and sustained service quality; reduced dependence on the state workers’ compensation electronic system; flexibility; and advanced policy management from the use of PCIS’s platform.

“There are so many aspects of PCIS and ClaimsVISION that appealed to us.  Not only is the system an ideal fit for our needs, but the expertise of the PCIS staff when it comes to the New York market and our lines of business is unmatched.  We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship,” Al Levy, Vision Risk vice president and managing director, said.

The insurer also plans to leverage PCIS’s extensive knowledge and experience in the New York self-insured market, specifically its long history of dealing with complex public entities such as the New York City local government.

Georgette Loizou, PCIS executive vice president, added: “We also appreciate the value Vision Risk sees in our expertise in the New York market and municipalities in general.  We are confident that the skills and knowledge of our staff combined with our ClaimsVISION solution are the best fit for Vision Risk today and well into the future.”
