Wholesale insurance broker expands its Southern presence with two hires

The insurance group expanded its office in Atlanta and Dallas, appointing two industry veteran to oversee operations in both locations.

A wholesale broker has expanded its presence in the Southern US with two new hires.

Los Angeles-based Worldwide Facilities announced that not only had it expanded its Atlanta, Georgia office, but also appointed Bob McAuley to serve as the location’s regional president.

“Bob brings a significant amount of experience and market as well as client relationships which will surely contribute to Worldwide Facilities’ growth strategy,” commented Worldwide Facilities Senior EVP of Brokerage Operations Tom Ciardello.

Previously, McAuley was associated with RT Specialty in Atlanta, having worked with the company for five years. He is also the founder of property and casualty wholesale insurance broker firm McAuley Woods & Associates 12 years before it was acquired by RT Specialty in 2010.

Worldwide Facilities has also hired Matthew Begnaud as senior vice president and broker in its Houston office.

Begnaud brings more than 10 years of industry experience to the company, having previously served as vice president of a managing general underwriter focused on the marine and energy industries.

While there, he developed expertise in primary, control of well, property and excess casualty for the upstream energy sector.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Insurance and Risk Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
