In a world where people get ribbons for “participation” and everyone is a “winner” it can be hard to stand out, but Wilcox and McGrath of Oklahoma City is managing to do just that.

Selected for the Best Practices Study Group by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA) for the third straight year, Wilcox and McGrath says it is committed to continued excellence.

“Being selected as a Best Practices Agency for the third year in a row… reflects our commitment to quality and providing for all of the insurance needs of our customers,” said Ed McGrath, BancFirst Insurance Services president. Wilcox and McGrath is a wholly owned subsidiary of BancFirst.

The Best Practices program was launched by IIABA in 1993 in order to study and document the best practices of top-performing agencies so that other agencies can learn from those best practices. Out of more than 1100 agencies nominated for the program this year, 217 were selected. Each selected company had to qualify in a particular area, and Wilcox and McGrath qualified on the basis of operational excellence.

Wilcox and McGrath also has offices in Edmond, Lawton, Muskogee, Shawnee, Stillwater and Tulsa.
