WTW firm Verita CSG has appointed William (Bill) Barry as chief claim manager and Chris Adolph as property claims head to form the managing general underwriting company’s claims leadership team.

With a certification as a casualty claim law associate from the American Insurance Institute, Barry comes to Verita with a background spanning over three decades in casualty claims, claim account management, and client servicing. His career highlights include leading international teams of claim account managers.

Adolph, meanwhile, joins the Verita roster with more than 25 years of expertise in property claims, vendor management, and client engagement. His extensive experience in managing high-growth, complex claim departments over a range of locations will significantly strengthen Verita’s claims leadership.

Edward Chiang, president and chief executive of Verita, expressed his enthusiasm about the new appointments, saying: “Verita is pleased to have industry leaders, Bill Barry and Chris Adolph, on the team delivering exceptional claims offerings to our insureds.

“Claims handling is a complex business, and we have the expertise to provide consistent and bespoke solutions, all at once, across all lines of business. We have built a leading claims platform, and I look forward to expanding our capabilities with Bill and Chris.”

A general agent with its principal place of business in Portsmouth, Verita was launched by WTW last October to underwrite insurance business on behalf of certain non-affiliated insurance companies subject to pre-approved underwriting guidelines.
