Marsh has announced the appointment of Katherine Keefe (pictured), an expert in cyber incident response, as its US cyber incident management leader. Keefe will be based in Philadelphia and will report to Tom Reagan, US cyber practice leader.

In her newly created role, Keefe will lead Marsh’s efforts to assist clients responding to and managing cyber events and advising them on pre- and post-incident management. She will also oversee the company’s relationships with the larger cyber incident management marketplace, including breach coaches, forensic investigators and cyber insurers.

Prior to joining Marsh, Keefe served as head of breach response services at Beazley. Before entering the insurance industry, she was a lawyer specializing in all aspects of healthcare law, including healthcare data privacy and security.

“In the wake of the global pandemic, organizations are looking for strategies and solutions to help mitigate the threat of cyberattacks, which are intensifying in both frequency and severity,” Reagan said. “As one of the foremost experts in her field, Katherine’s experience, knowledge, and expertise will be of tremendous value to our clients.”
