The Hartford has enhanced its suite of services created to protect clients from cyber risks with additional options.

The enhanced Hartford Cyber Center now includes options to detect digital risk exposure across the dark web from Terbium Labs, and access to a custom product that utilizes BlackBerry’s CylancePROTECT AI to protect business infrastructure.

Terbium Labs’ dark web scan allows The Hartford customers to view their exposure across the dark web, so they can spot potential leaks of sensitive information. The service produces a custom report which contains an analysis of an organization’s recent third-party data breach exposure and a list of the organization’s employee accounts most at risk of takeover, impersonation, or phishing.

CylancePROTECT offers a customizable high-efficacy endpoint security platform, made possible through a licensing partnership with Verizon Managed Security Services. The platform features: AI and machine learning that can detect widespread security threats such as ransomware; a feature that identifies and blocks known and unknown malware before it can enter the network; and installation, monitoring, and alert response managed through Verizon MSS.

“New cyber threats pop up every day and we are continuously looking to stay ahead of the curve to protect our customers with the latest technology and services,” said The Hartford cyber risk head Jacob Ingerslev. “These new offerings help keep customers’ data safe by preventing cyberattacks from happening in the first place and mitigate the impact when they do occur.”
